We at Info Desk are trying something new this year.

Have a photo shoot or group gathering you wanna make sure people know about? Post here or come to Info desk. We will have a (white board / piece of paper) something with a ongoing list of "unofficial" events and locations.

We strive to always have an answer to questions like "Do you know where the ______ photo shoot is".

So post here with Time / Dates / Ideas anything.

Well i know after the Katekyo Hitman Reborn fan panel I'm hosting many cosplayers wanna do a photoshoot, so it'd be nice to have it posted. It will start at 2pm on Friday I believe. Im unsure where it'll be and who will be taking the photos tho...

now this is an awesome Idea! since so many people at the cons can rarely keep up with the photoshoots since it can be hard to hunt down the shoot info during the con.

The Final Fantasy shoot will be Saturday at 12:30pm. The location should be the same as where all the photoshoots were held last year. It was on the 3rd floor by the elevators and under the escalators. Someone correct me if I'm mistaken.

I was actually going to request something like this to happen, since we do want people outside of the forums to come to the photo shoots and whatnot =D Will people be told to 'Check out photo shoot/unofficial events at Info Desk' when they get their badges? Or will they be given this info sheet along with the schedule? Or how will this work out so that people know about these events? o3o

I'm currently working on organizing a Left 4 Dead meetup, but I'm still not sure what time it's gonna be. Depends on when my cosplay group comes to a consensus (we're all juggling side projects). It'll probably be on Friday, that's all I know so far.

I'm kinda surprised no one's said Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt photoshoot considering how popular it is right now. I'm a Stocking cosplayer but I don't think I'll be wearing her to San Japan because my Panty isn't going.

So there is going to be a photoshoot for Princess Tutu ( I realize there aren't other cosplayers but there is still a photoshoot in the works) So if anyone wants to join me or take pics. This is supposed to happen on friday morning. The exact time will be given later. This is just a heads up.

I'm just here to find out when the Naruto photoshoot will be, so I might be able to coralate my cosplay for that.

If it is not set yet, I'd ask for it to be on Friday, but I know that that may not be the case.

It's still in the air, but Black Revolver might be hosting a fighting game meetup late afternoon/early evening Friday.

The official Black Revolver Fighting Game Meetup will be at 4:00 pm on Saturday. I'm not sure where we're meeting yet (it's really up to the rest of the group and my photographers), but as soon as I have a set location I'll post it.

Outside and on the Riverwalk is cool. I think the mall has rules about cosplay No big props, no weapons, no mask (I'll double check).

Here are the rules for the mall. They will strictly enforce it. Highly suggest to stay away.

The biggies are:



Cosplay Weapon Props are Not Allowed.
Masks are Not Allowed.
Face Paint is Not Allowed.

We had reports of multiple people asked to leave the Mall because they didn't follow the rules. We've already talked to the mall, they're fully aware of us, so don't complain if you're asked to leave as there is nothing we can do.

Hi there, Vice Head of info desk here. I'm going to say that the very latest we would add shoots to the list would be August 1st. The Monday before the con. That gives us enough time to add it to our list, print out some leaflets, and add it to our new website.

Across the street, then across the next street (in other words, go across Commerce then across Market), between the Grand Hyatt and the Convention Center, there is a perfect spot on the Riverwalk for taking photos - there's a bridge where a group can pose, and someone with a decent camera can take photos from Market St.

I'm planing a Hetalia photo shoot, right after the Hetalia Summit Rehearsal, at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. We'll meetup on the 1st floor lobby and go from there..
