I love the series and all but there's a bigger universe out there that isnt based on the Master Chief, like the Orbitial Drop Shock Troopers, other Spartans, or even the standard Marine. Before I went to sleep a few nights ago, this idea popped into my head. I thought it would just go away, but it kept on elaborating itself until eventually I decided to write it down. I forgot that I had intended on sharing it with all of you the following morning, so here it is now (I'm sure it won't be the best writing ever, I wrote it 30min before I fell asleep)

And so, the prince sat down in the lone chair in his room. As he looked outside his window, his view passed over expansive forests and mountains in the distance, as well as the town at the foot of the palace. He searched for any glimpse, any small sign that she existed.
With a sigh, the prince turned his gaze from the window and focused on a closed box on his desk. He opened it, removed the contents: inside was a startling, glowing jewel crafted in the shape of a heart. The prince eyed the heart with longing and hope, for he knew he would treasure the person who would come to claim it.
The prince held the heart close to his chest, awaiting her arrival and hoping she would find her way to him.


As I was typing that, I saw many errors I was tempted to fix, but I thought it would be better to leave it in its original form. Now you all know what my writing is like when I've just been kept awake by an idea that wouldn't keep quiet XD
So yeah, just wanted to share that with you guys. If you read it, thanks a lot for your time ^^

No prepaid for me. I've had bad experiences with prepaid in the past. I have cricket/pocket now, but it sucks because I send texts and people don't get it, and calls get dropped. So I would prefer a service which doesn't have those problems. I was thinking of Boost Mobile.
