Anyways! Welcome to 88 Days of Con-Prep, the Q&A thread where I, kinda convention vet Tiana, will guide you through the last few months before San Japan. Since we're officially less than a hundred days from our event, it's crunch time for panelists, cosplayers, and regular staff/attendees alike! I'd like to take some stress out of your last minute prepping and planning by handing out advice, finding answers, and just helping out in general!

What would qualify me for such a thread? I've been going to conventions since 2007 at A-kon 18 and have attended 2 A-kons, one Ikkicon, and every San Japan since 1.5. I've cosplayed at every event, everything from video games, to anime, to movies; using handmade, storebought, commissioned, and thrift-shopped cosplays. I've entered two cosplay competitions, ran two very successful Tea Events at San Japan, and one haphazardly run Improv Panel (but we don't talk about that, haha), receiving praise from staffers across the board- ask the Bald One yourself!

As for organizing for a convention, my traveling group never contains less than six people (the most I've ever had come with me was twelve, chaperons included), so being prepared for the worst has always been my top priority when it comes to cons. I plan out everything from cosplays down to when and where we will eat each day. They don't always pan out how they should, but we're only human, right?

So now that I've told you a bit about me, let's hear about you. What's ailing you right now? Cosplay troubles? Roommate issues? General panic about the weekend?
