I saw it and was pretty surprised (and therefore content) that the movie followed the story line and events of the book.

I really wished I cosplayed when I went to see it. I thought about it months prior to the tickets being released, but all it was was a thought. :/

Ooh, really? Aside from the losses that occur from going book->film, I've heard good things about it from fans of the book in real life.. but I've never read the book, the plot just appeals to me.
How was it bad?
My fiance went as an outsider and he didn't think it was so horrible. oO
Not his cup of tea, no. But not like, horrendus.

I liked it. I read the books when they came out but haven't had a chance to reread them.

If not, well...
1. Barrels upon barrels of unexplained things, plot holes, etc
2. Really cheesy gimmicks
3. Half-assed last-minute thrown-together ending similar to Spiderman 3
4. No character development outside of Katniss
There's more. it was terrible in all regards.
