    Maid Cafe

    I think we're ready to talk about this. We got approval from the hotel this year to have one.

    After years of tons of requests, San Japan & The Blue Velvet Cafe will be finally bringing the maid cafe experience to San Japan 4TW.

    Plan is to charge $5. Per entrance of Per Show (meaning you can check out an AM Show, leave, and still check it out later on but if you come back for a PM Show, you have to pay $5 again).

    We have to charge the fee in order to recoup the hotel charges to allow us to serve our own food in the maid cafe.

    Menu & more details TBD. I know a rep from The Blue Velvet is on the forums here to answer questions.

    For those who do not care for music, it is set so that it will play once through. It is at the bottom of the page and you can click to turn it off easily enough.

    Just a quick update for all. With Christmas over and the New Year begun the BVC is happy to announce that we will be focusing full force again on our Teas and Cafes. We have recently started acquiring new items for your enjoyment such as table games and more tea items.

    If you take a look at our website you can see our uniforms that we will be wearing. I would say our style is "Blue Velvet Cafe" Maids style.

    Just to get a count

    I wanted to get an estimated head count. How many of you would be attending the Maid Cafe? I need to know a rough estimate of how many to account for so I know what all to bring for you all.

    o3o I'll definitely be going to the Cafe. But getting an estimate might be tough, considering the great majority of the con-goers aren't on the forum... I'm sure you'll get A LOT of people though!

    It has been decided that it is going to be $5 per-show / per entrance. If you leave during an AM show, you can still come back w/o paying but if you return for a PM Show, you'll have to pay $5 again. We think this is the fairest way so everyone can experience it w/o having people staying there all day.

    Gold & Silver passes will have to pay the entrance fee too.

    I know I won't get an exact head count or anything, that's why I'm just looking for an estimate. That way I can get a rough idea of what I'm looking at. Mostly I am just trying to spark up some conversation about it. LOL
