I need manga suggestions! >_<

I want to start reading manga again, but I have no idea what to read... :/

Just to put this out there, no shounen (as in, no Bleach, Naruto, Hikaru no Go, Dragon Ball, so on and so forth). Furthermore, I'm more into things that are for...say, people 16/18 and up. More mature, more drama, etc.

"Berserk" is the first thing that pops to mind. Beautiful art work, solid story, and incredibly violent.
"Sailor Moon" is getting a rerelease, so there's that.
"Dramacon" is a good one.
If you want to kick it old school, "Black Jack".
And because it doesn't get enough love, "Mushishi".

tried Berserk. While it's not shounen, I guess I should've specified; I don't generally like anything with just copious amounts of mindless violence.

also i do not care if you specified you do not want to read shonen i will STILL recomend Jo Jos Bezire adventure OMFG it is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO awesome!

Tenken, Solanin, Line, and Voiceful are all fairly good one shot series. I am wayyyyy better at recommending anime since I don't read much manga and the series I usually follow are horror. Seven Seas put out some nice light yuri stuff (The Last Uniform, First Love Sisters,...) but they did not make enough to publish most of the series that they picked up Q_Q.

The only place that I read manga online is yurikai since I can get short series whenever I want. Hopefully some of this mess helped...

Huntef x hunter is the only one. Them, jojos they skipped the first two arcs and only brought the third arc. and imo the second was the best as for ippo its chimichangland only

I loved the characters and the idea behind it but the pacing of Saikano (the anime) was terrible. I don't have any other suggestions for similar series but if you are trying to decide which to get first go with Tenken.

Never saw the anime, but my friend (who shares in my obsession with the manga) said it was bad, so I never dealt with it. The manga, however...I feel every person should read it just as a good source of literature.

NOT BLACK BIRD!!! *shoots self in the face* The main character NEVER stops crying!!!! She sneezes, she cries. Someone looks at her funny, she cries. A little exaggerated, but you get the point.

Though, Gakuen Prince is HILARIOUS!!!
