A thought, or maybe an idea...

So, I was reading into things, and such.
And this is kinda weird idea... but, what would ya'll think about an event, that is something like a club rush event?

Though, it wouldn't only be clubs.

I think, local businesses could come out (ones that are anime/japanese related in some sense, artists, even), anime clubs (high school, independent, etc), and cons (mizuumicon, san japan, etc; but we could get the out of the area ones to send us ad-cards), set up a table in a hall, and we could spend half a day selling our events? Free admission, kinda like a job fair. All for the San Antonio Area.

What sort of planning do you think would go into such an event? And would anyone be interested?
What would have to be done to make sure artists/businesses could sell things?
We could do it once a year/semi-annually?

I didn't know they ever did job fair/club fairs anywhere besides schools :O

that said, schools and newspapers are the best places to advertise for cons, as well as places where the clientele are likely to go, such as Bobalicious, Heroes and Fantasies and the ilk.

Oh, and I don't know if it would be any help, but I'm the president of the anime club at my middle school...

It's a big event where lots of clubs/events come out to draw people.

If this is something that you really want to do the first thing, I would think, you need to do is talk to local businesses and see if this is something that they would be interested in. Also speak to their patrons and get the feel if they would want to attend an event like this.
Once you get a few statistics you can start looking into locations and actually planing the event.

Anywho, I think its a good idea but you would need to get enough people who would want to be involved.
