    Lightbulb Bringing Food....

Hey I was wondering if it was ok to bring food with me to the convention. Because I was thinking of bringing some so I wouldn't have to leave the con to eat. Also I couldn't find a thread about this so I made one.

You can bring food. as mr12345, those are very good foods to bring. I'd also bring pleanty of water and if you can pack lunchables those too, cuz then its a mini meal that you dont have to stick in a fridge . MY friends and I always pack a small backpack full of these things so we're less tempted to buy con food....

Heh. It's not like the movies or a theme park where outside food is prohibited because they want to sell you their own. Just avoid any obnoxious foods (really loud, messy, or smelly), and you'll be fine.

There will be a restriction on bringing food into a panel room or two (such as the art rooms), but speaking for my own room (cel art), I wouldn't bar you as long as it's in your bag or backpack. We just can't have people standing over the artwork, drinking and eating, since it may damage the display pieces.

I learned long ago never to travel to an event like this without good granola bars. Chocolate chip, with high omega 3. As long as you have access to water fountains, you can eat them any time, day or night, and they fill you up. Tasty and good for ya!

    WATER BOTTLE!

seriously, bring a bottle of sorts for water.

Also there are various convenient stores downtown that you could go to to get things. Not sure where they are in relation to the con, though, but they're options as well.

I don't know about this one, but a lot of upscale-ier hotels have mini fridges and microwaves. Might ask so you can pack more varieties or at least keep your sandwich stuff fresh. You'd want something substantial without breaking the bank.
