Do you remember how I said that my dad offered to pay a third of the rent if my brother and I got an apartment? Tonight he said that he'd want us to live super close, that way he could stop by whenever he wanted. His reason was 'If I'm paying a third of the rent, I want to be able to come over whenever.'


Yeah, no way am I ever going to let that happen.

but yeah, even if I did move close I would not tell him where I lived. Maybe the apartment complex, but not my apartment number. I don't trust him

Now if only I can convince my mom to just leave....I feel bad though for suggesting to her to abandon the house, even though she's said she doesn't feel like it's home anymore. We've worked so hard for it, and even though I'm willing to abandon it I know she's not

Yeah, and with a baby on the way she definitely doesn't need this stress. I really think she needs to talk to her parents about this, but I think she's afraid too cause they have no idea about what's been going on the past 6 years...

well im probly not the best person for advice if i think theres something that someone needs to kno i tell them straight up and i dont like going all soft and mushy becuase ive been surrounded by ppl who do tht and they never get the results they need. so i learn tough love, but i am respectful no matter what. or at least i try to be.

Well I'd rather be nice about it, cause my mom is even more emotional than me normally, and her hormones from the baby make her even more agitated

Well she's been married to him for 23 years. She loved him a lot, and I think she's just been hoping he'll wake up and realize everything and change for the better. People do strange things when they're committed to their love.
