I don't know what to expect, honestly. The season finale.....that was awful, IMO -- the turtleisland, especially.
I'll probably watch it to see if this is better, but....considering how the finale went, my standards aren't really set high.

Admittedly the ending of Avatar left me wanting more. It's a shame it's taken them the better part of a decade to come out with another Avatar series to answer questions and wrap up loose ends from the first tho.

Seen the Legend of Korra today? It's the start of the season finale and it is absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!!

I'm excited for the next season, I loved the how they progressed the city scape and technology and how there is a sense of tradition and modernism clash trying to blend together. The idea of the oriental style automobiles was one of my favorite tidbits. I also like the way they improved the animation, it was smoother but powerful kick like the series itself.

I hope they give her more depth the next few episodes.
It seems like all she had to live for in the series was revenge and getting dumped.
First by her father, then Mako. It just doesn't turn out her way. And it's not like she ever did anything wrong either! Her story is so heart breaking.

I hope so. He seems alright. I don't think he'll treat her like a rebound chick the way MAko did. Even she did throw herself at Mako, scooter first.

I think Asami having to go through the break up and her dad was all to make her one bad ass chick, she didn't sit around and cry about it or take it out on Korra. I think that was one reason I liked this series so much, is that they didn't make the girls any weaker in spirit than the boys. So major props for that. I also agree with the Iroh thing, I was happy to see him when he came in, especially because he was jet packing around like Iron Man. Iroh-Iron Man. But if Asami is Batman and he's Iron Man them dating is quite a funny thought.
