To people who care,
The last 7 days has been a massive roller coaster for me. Splitsville from my GF of 4 years last week but still stuck in Denton. Been scrambling to see what it'll take to leave this place so I can move closer to Austin or S.A. Very fortunate that my support network has sprung up to catch me. Might have a place to stay for a while in Austin until my ducks are in a row by the end of the year to be closer to S.A.
The ex & I are still on great terms after talking things out. We came to realize that we were on separate paths so this is better for both. Not much will be changing between us as we had been drifting away from each other for quite some time. It is already turning into one of those rare post-relational friendship.
Denton chapter comes to a close in April. I didn't mind the town but most who knew me in person knew I wasn't happy living here since I was so far away from where I needed to be.
While the circumstances suck, this is best for both.
