As far as convention commercials go, on a scale of 1 to GIRUGAMESH: I give it a solid 7.7rololo, great job!

Umm.. ok. i liked the last five seconds. If I were watching it for the first time and I didn't know what San Japan was, I still wouldn't know and that yellow text on yellow muddy background didn't help either.

Good effort but it doesn't show you what SJ has to offer and barely tells you enough reasons to go. I think you would have done a better job with still images slapped together like the "rules and regualtions" short they show that tells you how to order and that your seat can be used as a floatation device during zombie attack.

I'm sorry, I want to like it. But it doesn't tell me why I should go strongly enough. It doesn't sell SJ or even feel like SJ so me.

I'm guessing those who are not feeling the commercial have never seen the sort of advertising fare that shows at the Alamo Drafthouse. This is pretty par the course for them.

Keep in mind that, unless you are a regular at the Alamo, you are not the target audience for this advert

I go to the Drafthouse and I love their wacky PSAs/promos (like this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1L3eeC2lJZs ) but Trololo no worky.
