Is there something special that you want to be able to do at the convention but wasn't able to get it done this year?
I hope to be good enough and have enough things for an artist alley table next year and maybe help out with a panel.![]()

Cosplays:
Max ~ Maximum Ride ((Any advice on wings?))
Maka Albarn ~ Soul Eater
Maya Fey ~ Phoenix Wright
Applejack ~ MLP: FIM or Marcaline the Vampire Queen ~ Adventure Time
I would love to perform as a musical act next year.
Speaking of musical acts. Bit Brigade. They totally need to get invited and play next year. Probably the most unique act in the VGCB scene. After seeing them at Bit-Gen, I honestly have to say, nothing compares to their show.
Having a cosplay group would be incredible~!
I WILL NOT MISS THE SJ FORUM MEET UP.
I would also like being able to stay at the raves longer... I hope that for the love of god they'll start on time next year.

They're totally worth it, Sweetly, I stayed at the saturday one until 4am. My body cries, but it was fun XD
My dream is also to have a cosplay group, make my own cosplay by next San Japan, and maybe enter the cosplay show

Last year I only cosplayed alongside my cousin, even though I went with my friends :/
But this year I have a cosplay group! And that was my dream *o*
This year I want to have a kickass and well planned out cosplay (which I'm working on now). mmmm I also want to go to the cosplay dating game/rave this year since I couldn't go last year
Before you go to sleep, eat a little bit of ice cream so you can have
sweet dreams
1. Talk to more people, meet more people
2. Have an enjoyable experience at the SJ dances *heavy, heavy sigh*
3. Consume much, much more alcohol
4. Buy something at the dealer's room that isn't Pokemon related
5. Not stay in a boring panel just to support it >_>;;
6. Take moar pics
7. Actually attend the masquerade, something I've wanted to do each time, but have never done due to lacking the proper attire

let me say, first off, that I went to SJ1 and SJ3, and both had plenty fine dances.
SJ4....well...
Everybody knows the Saturday dance is better than the Friday one. It's just an inevitability. That said, I didn't attend Friday's dance last year, so I can't comment. What I can say about Saturday's is...
1) The amount of people was staggeringly low. Was it because the ballroom is just so huge and it made it -appear- that it was empty? Was there something going on? Maybe not as many people that went to SJ in general? I'll never know. What I do know is that it was pretty ghosty. Furthermore, and I know there's nothing you can do about this, it really felt like a "dance with yourself" sort of situation, where people were...simply dancing with themselves. That's just...no >_>
2) The music. It was awful. Every song was some sort of awkward dubstep remix. Putting aside the fact that I hate dubstep worse than I hate peas and country music, it just felt repetitive, and far away from the traditional "techno/house/electro/europop/etc" that is typically there. That's ignoring the fact that there are, also, some DDR songs and/or popular dance hits typically played at cons.
3) On topic of the music, the DJ. 3 times did the DJ's music...freeze? Or something? It stopped, and the lights went on. And it just...threw off the vibe and swag in the room. Obviously I don't know why, but that's just...that can't be happening, especially more than once.
So, I mean, I realize the DJ has to go with what he feels best, but I mean, you've been to enough cons to know the right sort of music. I realize dubstep is the biggest fad since the Pokemon craze of the late 90s, but I think if you're going to drown the dance in dub step, at least mix it up with other genres. Thanks for listening![]()

1.) Have/make some friends at the con *pretty shy when it comes to these things*
2.) Finally finish my Will Of The Abyss cosplay (I keep having to stop due to a problem for example, all my fabric being destroyed..... etc.)
EDIT: I meant to add these to mine X3

1. Entering my duet cosplay as a Walk-on during the cosplay competition.
2. Hope that everyone will enjoy the panels I run, co-host, or assist with.
3. Hope to see all the awesome con staffers again and hoping they let me help with setting up and breaking down the con again. *huge big hopeful eyes*
4. Hoping to see old and new cosplay friends.
5. (This wish was granted, but I'll post it anyways.) Enough time between my panels to change cosplays multiple times.

I realize that this was a thread made a year ago originally with people posting what their dreams were for this upcoming San Japan. But I'm gonna take this time to post that my dream for next next San Japan is to finally host the panels I've been working on for like 2 years.
It's not that I get rejected as it is that I generally make myself give up on that sudden realization that I don't have the time to do it! But next year... hopefully, oh yes, next year...
