    The Loliholix are no more...

We are now NeRiMa ねりま Due to some drama that's WAY too long to post here, we have decided to pick a newer, more awesomer name! "Nerima" comes from the anime "Nerima Daikon Brothers" which was directed by none other than Shinichi "Nabeshin" Watanabe.

Knowing this drama, this would have turned into a book if he had attempted.

As long as you didn't take the name "Daikon". I was gonna use that for a future convention name! XD

    it's wonderful you started fresh.

but I wanted to band to "die" onstage and re-emerge as the new band.
I had it all worked out, storyboards and everything!

At least it's finally going to be able to move forward now and not be held back.

You guys should totally make trading cards for the band - I'd buy a few Kiwis, and a ton of Jenny's.. >_>

I think you are severely underestimating how influential Daicon and its affiliates are. We owe a great deal of our convention model to them. They are a big part of anime history. You may want to consider a different name.

How am I underestimating Daicon's influence? All i'm saying is since Daikon is taken in Japan, and since it has such a big influence IN Japan, I would love to carry that name over to the states. But of course, building a convention in my case is so far away from now.

Internationally, actually. Also, it's trademarked. Internationally. Like I said, I don't mean to rain on your parade, but that's just the way the cookie, in this case, has crumbled.
