Never been to the Japanese Tea Gardens, so that'd be interesting...sounds good to me.

Japanese Tea Gardens are re-opened, and it's free to go in. That may be a lovely place to start as well for our walk.

As for ice-skating, I'm not sure. Trying to look for things that may not cost people too much out of their pocket. We can if enough people are willing to pay.

So a group walk November 19th at the Japanese Tea Gardens sounds about right. What time would everyone prefer? Morning, noon, afternoon, or early evening?

I'm in on this. Nice to have some fun stuff with other cosplayers to supplement my PT. BTW, anyone here do 5Ks in costume, or at all? I don't like running but if it's a huge group for a cause, I'd so do it.

Oh no, we're not planning on doing fitness/workout stuff in cosplays/costumes! We're just a group of people who want to get fit/be fit for the characters we cosplay on the side.

Depending on the weather, I think shooting for afternoon would be GREAT. especially if it stays nice and breezy during that time of the day.
I could get into this, I might have bad knees, but I love to walk. xD

Well, I wish I could join you guys. I live in New Braunfels and all I have is a permit. I'm sure my mum would be like "Cosplay Fitness? In San Antonio? Start walking!"

So my hours for next saturday Nov 19, I have to work from 10-6 at the shop. As for the Japanese Tea Gardens, the main sites states it's open all week from dawn until dusk. (No specific hours.) 6pm gets kind of dark this time of year now. Does anyone have any issues with it being on Sunday the 20th in the afternoon?
