Classic anime Cosplay anyone??

Aww, Digimon, Sailor Moon, Lupin, DBZ, Yu Yu Hakusho, Parappa, and Ranma ?
I'm seriously hoping to see some of you around. Just the thought of cosplays from those series makes me happy.

I'm hoping to do Hikaru Shidou from Magic Knight Rayearth (early 90s anime).

Thinking about pulling out my Princess Ayeka (from Tenchi Muyo!) costume, but it needs some touch ups. XD

Some of my friends and I have been tossing around the idea of doing Leiji Matsumoto characters - Captain Harlock, Queen Emeraldas, Maetel, etc - but I am still very novice at creating costumes. X_X

I say go for it if you really want to ! There are a lot of great tutorials and people (including me) online that can help you through costume making. c:

Thanks for the vote of confidence! I bought some patterns and cloth that I can practice with to get a feel for sewing. I have done a bit of crafting before, but more experience usually pays off with better results. :3

You're definitely on the right track. Practice is always something that doesn't hurt to have a lot of.
Especially with your knowledge of crafting-- I'm sure you'll do great.

I'm hoping I can manage to do it too.... I lost enthusiasm today after I spend hours tediously crafting a pauldron for my Final Fantasy cosplay. I'm just dreading making a bigger one for Hikaru now. xP

I'd love to see some real classic cosplay, something from Crusher Joe or Creamy Mami, or Space Adventure Cobra. Anything from the early 80s, late 70s.
