3DS Street Pass meetup?

How many have a 3DS around here?

I think this would a be a cool idea, when I was at MAGfest, I couldn't keep up with the street passes. Having a plpace and time to gather a bunch of people to street pass and swap puzzle pieces and find mii would be pretty fun.

Plus Mario Kart 7 and other local multiplayer games would be fun.

i am thinking up an idea to set up a DS or portable gaming station, a round table with outlets available and chairs

Sounds like fun, picked up a LOAD of streetpass thingamabobbers at Ikkicon so yeah, there seem to be more folks with 3DS-es out there!

When two 3DS are within range, they share information. There is a Mii Plaza and has two minigames, find mii and puzzle swap. Some puzzle pieces are only availible from Street Passes, find mii is really useful for repeat passes, get to collect hats to use on your mii.

Some games use the feature too. Like Mario Kart 7 trades Ghost lap data, RE Revalations rewards supply drops and gives a Raid Mode Mission, DoA will give a throwdown challenge etc

Yeah, basically, if you both have DoA or SF4 or whatever game with the feature. Its a neat feature IMO.

Something like that, you leave your 3DS in sleep mode with the wireless on and it pings/listens for others nearby. When you grab one, you'll get a notification that 'you have X new tags' and so on the next time you open it up.

I'm up for it, I take my 3DS with me every day I go to school and always get at least 2 or 3 tags every day.

I just got back from the Legend of Zelda concert in Austin. There where so many street passes that I almost completed all the puzzles. I will probably complete them all at San Japan.

Maybe we should set aside a little "3DS MEETUP PLACE" so that people can take breaks and go through their tags or something. Cause I know I'm going to fill up mine really fast just from walking around the convention, and I'm definitely going to take breaks to get puzzle pieces.

Picked up FF Theatrhythm, lots of fun. There's a demo for Rhythm Thief in the eShop that's pretty good, too.
