So let me tell you about homestuck.

Heeeeey, guys! Since this topic is for non-Japanese related stuff, I thought I'd make a thread about one of the best webcomics ever - Homestuck!

So, yeah! I've been wanting to have general discussion about it for a while.

Which reminds me, I need to reply to my John x Karkat RP.

This thread's looking a bit lonely.

So, to start off some discussion I guess, who's everyone's favourite characters or something? /notverygoodatdiscussionstarting

THE SUBJUGGLATOR >) aka Zillyhoo. but that's besides the point. My second favorite is The Signless if only because his philosophy speaks to the kind hearted idiot inside my heart.

I just began reading Homestuck, at first I had a hard time seeing what everyone was so excited for but man once you get past those first couple of pages! I guess I really like so many of the characters its hard to say!

I need somebody to persuade me that Homestuck is good. I watched 4 videos of it on YouTube and just thought, for each one, "Okay, I saw a bunch of pictures and colors...but what's the point of them all?"

I never watched any of the videos on youtube, because I know some are unrelated or confusing out of context unless you read it the actual comic I don't think you'd get it?
I just finished up to the updates I was genuinely pleased by how good it was.

I didn't make it past the beginning of MSpaint adventures..... So I never got into it. Still don't see the point in continuing if I wasn't entertained...

    I know what you mean.

Yes there is a huge page hump to get over. I read the beginning 3 times, going 'why is this popular????' But once I got to certain point it started making sense and it became a really elaborate story. I understand exactly where you were coming from, but if you ever give it another shot try to get to hmmm I don't I guess to the part the action starts picking up. Because even though the first pages seem pointless and stupid everything comes back as important later. It's a layer upon layer kind of work. I feel bad it doesn't get as much credit as it should because the beginning is off putting, even if it is necessary.

Sorry for so many spelling errors my labtop can't keep up with my type and will lag and not correct it as I go sometimes.
*Hmmm I don't know. I guess get to the part where the action picks up*
