Art Contest

We are taking submissions for this upcoming convention Art & T-Shirt design if you would like submit your artwork. If you would like to see people wearing your artwork or possibly be used as badge art, on the front cover of the program book and to be seen throughout the convention, send it to conchair@san-japan.org (if under 10MB) or upload it to mediafire.com and email the link. Here are the guidelines:

• This year’s theme is ‘Cute’. We want it cuddly. We want it adorable. We want our eyes to bleed Cute.
• There is preference that it be a drawing of our female mascot Sana or any of our Chibi mascots however this is not required. We will take original submissions too of an original character and we are open-minded. For examples of previous artwork submitted, check out our Myspace Photo Album or our DeviantArt.
• We will take submissions if they’re fan art of one of our mascots based in the style of a well-known anime/manga series.
• If you just want to submit your own original work then it’ll be considered as long as it as an anime/manga style to it.
• The artwork must be G or PG rated. Nothing overtly risque or offensive.
• Submitted art needs to be in TIF or PSD/Photoshop format [preferred]. We will take over file formats but it needs to be a common type like JPG.

All submissions must be made by May 1st, 2010. There will not be a limit to the number entries you may submit.

The winning chosen design for the T-shirt contest will receive 1 free shirt and a Gold badge upgrade. Winners selected for badge art design and program book cover will be given a free shirt. You are not required to pre-register for San Japan in order to submit an entry.
