Skit: 3:30 minutes of stage time. Pre-recorded highly audio encouraged.
Dance skits, or skits with no dialog where choreography or dance are the sole focus, MUST be somehow connected to the series being cosplayed. IE: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya ending, Hetalia movie ending, Vocaloid music videos, etc. You cannot do "Cosplay Gangam Style" or something similar.
Youth: Entry is 13 years old or younger.
Novice: First time contestants, contestants who have not won any awards.
Journeyman: Contestants who have won judges awards, best runner-up or similar, cosplayers who have been competing for over a year.
Master: Contestants who have won craftsmanship, best in class or best in show, professional tailors/seamstresses.

Walk-on entries are allowed to select custom music to be played while they are on stage. Dialog recordings are not permitted for walk-on entries. If you do not upload a specific song, a selection from the series' soundtrack will be chosen for you. Audio may not contain profanity of any kind. Audio files may be brought to the table during check-in IF files are contained on a USB flash drive. No CDs will be accepted for audio. If you wish to request a specific song and do not have it or are unable to find it, indicate your request and staff will find the audio for you.
Audio Quality: Please listen to your audio on decent loudspeakers. Listen for buzzing, muddy sound, or other quality concerns. YouTube rips are often of low quality and are discouraged. Files must be in .MP3 format. Files may be no larger than 25MB. It is highly preferred that songs are edited to 60 seconds in length. Staff reserves the right to replace your audio selection if the quality is poor.

If you are planning to hand in your script in person, please let us know. The deadline is September 1st, 2018 at 12pm.

Your script must be submitted by 12 pm on Saturday, September 1st, 2018, in order to ensure ample time for review. Skit scripts may be uploaded here for advance review. Scripts must be in .PDF, .DOC, .ODT or .TXT format. Skits MUST be approved before the skit is allowed to perform - any skits that have not submitted their script by 12 pm on Saturday, September 1st, 2018 will be cut from the show.
Skit Craftsmanship: Skits may be exempt from craftsmanship judging if indicated. Skits who are exempt from craftsmanship judging are ineligible for craftsmanship awards and will only be judged on the basis of their performance. Check the following box if you wish to be exempt from craftsmanship judging.
Accepted file types: jpg, gif, png, pdf, doc, html, tif, tiff, eps, ai, psd.
Reference Images: Please choose an image that is a clear picture of your character's costume. Reference images will be made available to judges at the time of your entry's pre-judging. Reference images are highly encouraged but not required. Collages (multiple images put together into one file) are acceptable and appreciated. Images must be in .JPG, .PDF, .TIFF or .PNG in format (GIF images are very "lossy" IE their quality tends to be poor). You may bring your own reference images to your pre-judging session.

Construction Diary: Construction diaries, or pictures of the costume as it was being constructed, are encouraged but not required. Construction diaries will be made available to the judges at the time of your entry's pre-judging. These must be in .PDF format, as .DOC files with images are prone to formatting concerns. You may bring your construction diary to your pre-judging session instead of uploading.
