    Arcades!

Who dosen't love a good Arcade?
Even though they're an endangered species, there's still a few good ones here in town.

My personal favorite is Rocky J's on Culebra. They have DDR and Pool tables, the lighting and smokers can be a bit off putting but they have a good variety of games and awesome hours.

Post your favorite home away from homes here. XD

Rocky J's is pretty good, but I miss their Darkstalkers Cabinet. ): illusion and I have hit up Diversions before and it's never a dull moment, though they do have to many racing games for my tastes.

And without doubt the greatest arcade ever is Pinballs up in Austin, going in is like having a acid-based nostalgia trip. We should totally plan roadtrip up there one day. I mean... they have The Simpson Arcade game! YOU KNOW WHICH ONE I'M TALKING ABOUT.

    Oooh, Simpsons game...
You've ever been to Arcade UFO? They have actual factual Japanese cabinets and tokens.

I miss Einstein's in Austin which closed in 2009. I'm aware that Arcade UFO rose up from the ashes due to it haven't stepped in there. I do stop by Pinballz when I have time to kill in Austin which is a huge slice of nostalgia back in the days when I lived in arcades in the 80's & 90's.

I'll have to look for Pinballs when I go to Austin for Ikkicon.

BTW, does anyone a place called 'Larsland'? At least I think that's what it was called...
I just remember it was on the north side of town and it reminded me of a casino.

And another thing, I miss the old Cyberzone at Ingram. It had TWO DDR machines and Virtual On. Now it's all gone. T^T

Yeah, the Cyberzone was actually quite impressive. Ingram has another arcade but it's quite small since it's in the Food Court area. But still it's great to kill some time if you're stuck at the mall. XD

yeah, San Antonio arcades don't exist. Considering checking out some place called Lone Star Gaming. Last I went to Gamelot they had classic cabs <3

But yeah, you either have to go to Austin or settle for the rather meh Dave & Busters (at least they have Pump it Up!). Crossroads Mall also has some really cool cabs, but their arcade is almost always closed when I go T_T

I would love to go to Malibu, since it's near where I live. But everything is always set on Saturday and I always have to WORK. D:

Thursdays are nice, Fridays sometimes better considering there's a 50/50 shot of it being payday. $_$

Diversions Arcade by north star is really great, the arcade at Main event is pretty cool lots of new stuff (no fighting or classic arcade games though ), the arcade at lazer legend by rolling oaks mall is pretty awesome too, and even though its not in SA arcade UFO has to be the coolest arcade i've been too.
