Latex free elf ears ???
Anybody know where online or the Austin or San Antonio area I might be able to purchase latex free elf ears? My son and I are both allergic to latex. So we need something else. Throw me a clues please.

Hmm... Sounds like your options are either silicone or gelatin.
Gelatin ears you have to make yourself, but they look super realistic (in fact, it's what they use for the Elves in the Lord of the Rings trilogy). Unfortunately, they also have the cons of being one time use only, and melting in the rain. Here are some instructions on how to do that, if you're up to it:

You can also buy silicone ears. They run more expensive than their latex counterparts, but are worth it to not break out in hives:

This site sells both silicone and gelatin ear tips:

Hope this helps!

Those are great ideas. Also on EBAY there have been some very good prop makers with ears that are different materials and very affordable. Good luck!
