What is it? I've been interested in the Shin Megami Tensei series but I haven't been able to play any of the games.

It's a MMORPG based on the Megami Tensei series which has to do with a post-apocalyptic Tokyo overrun by various demons. It recently changed hands from Aeria games to Atlus Online.
...Slightly intrigued would you say it's more like old-school Persona or new-school Persona?

Not sure, never played Persona, but my friend who loves Person really likes it. Plus its free to play, so if you don't like it you can just get rid of it.
I'm a big SMT fan but idk if the mmo is really worth my time when there is so many smt games I haven't beat.
