What: Cosplay Drama
Where: Social Room (Conf. Room 17 & 18)
When: Sunday 4:00pm-5:00pm
Who: Hosted by RedeadDie and AlaraLeongod
Why: Because everyone has some drama they want to get off their chest.

Although everyone doesn't like it, there's always a chance that a drama issue involving cosplay or a convention pops up. Whether it's stressing over finishing a cosplay last minute, a fight you had with a good friend during the convention, or dealing with hurtful words on the internet chances are you're not alone. Cosplay drama will involve a discussion on such subjects, how to avoid possible drama, and possibly help lead to a resolution to any current drama.

The last thirty minutes of the panel will be a peer mediation for anyone wanting to help work out some con or cosplay drama with their friends.

Lets all help each other one step at a time to make cosplay and cons enjoyable for everyone again!

P.S. We'll stick around even after the panel if you have anymore questions, comments, or want to work out some more drama issues.

I'm glad this is near the end of the convention, because chances are, someone is probably going to have some drama happen over San-Japan weekend. Hopefully I'm wrong and hopefully no one had any drama though. D:

For the mediation part, each person will get a turn to express their issue in their own words for five minutes without interuption. Then the other side shall get the same. After that, we'll ask what each side wants to resolve this or find some peaceful resolution.

Sometimes it happens to work out and people can stay friends. Sometimes it turns out the best option is to not be friends but still be respectful to the other person. It's sad, but it does happen from time to time.

Hugs and tissues will be supplied.

The mediation part might be 45 minutes instead of 30 incase there happens to be a lot of cases. Again, we'll stick around afterwards if you need someone to listen still.

And we actually might need more volunteers if you want to be a neutral party/mediator to break into groups. We want it to be a private for each party as much as possible. Just remember, we're not here to take sides.

Well, we're going to be broken up into smaller private groups during the mediation. Don't want people to announce their issues infront of a ton of strangers. The only one who'll know anything is the mediator of that group and the people having an issue relating to each other.
